For more than 30 years, the Power of One Self-Defense Institute has empowered individuals and families through martial arts. Our programs combine practical self-defense with instruction in Kenpo Karate, Jiu-Jitsu, and Kickboxing, helping students develop confidence, discipline, physical fitness, and valuable life skills.

Our Cerritos school is led by Mrs. Tami Bennett, whose experience, dedication, and personal approach create a positive and welcoming environment for every student. Our instructors are selected not only for their martial arts skills and accomplishments, but also for their ability to connect with and inspire students of all ages, experience levels, and backgrounds.
