Age Specific Programs From Beginner to Advanced

Tiny & Mighty Tigers (Ages 4-6)

Our Tiny Tigers & Mighty Tigers Program is a detailed martial arts curriculum focusing on improving young children’s basic motor and listening skills. This program develops the major skills that are necessary for both successes in school as well as life. With the perfect blend of fitness, fun and learning we are unlike any other activity. Fun filled, fast paced classes that are approximately 40 minutes long. Classes become more challenging as each child demonstrates the readiness to accept more complex skills. Children will begin to grasp the concept of self discipline as they achieve goals. When he/she tackles more difficult goals, the self-confidence grows and serves as a strong foundation in all aspects of life, including academics, sports, arts and socially as well.

Junior Warriors (Ages 7-12)

Confidence truly is the “key to self-defense, Saying No to Peer Pressure, Stopping the Bullies and leading a happy and fulfilling life.” One of the greatest tools for building confidence in self-defense and safety skills is experience. Your child will experience a wide variety of safety and self-defense scenarios that will help to prepare them for real-life dangers and situations. Your child will participate in self-defense drills that are designed to build their confidence as their knowledge grows. They will learn to set goals to reach higher levels helping them achieve. Once a student starts to achieve, they begin to apply self-discipline, which leads to greater achievement, and achievement develops confidence.

Teen & Adult (Ages 13+)

It’s common for teens and adults to struggle with self-esteem as they deal with competitive work environments and overloaded to-do lists. Teens and adults who study martial arts learn to search within themselves for their best qualities. They learn to self-motivate and not to worry what others think of them. Martial arts instruction encourages students to feel good about themselves as they master new techniques. Martial arts workouts are fun and challenging. They burn calories while also building muscles and ramping up your metabolism. Regular martial arts workouts can help you lose weight steadily, especially when combined with a healthy diet.

Fitness Kickboxing

Are you ready to feel empowered, lose weight, and get your health back on track? Fitness Kickboxing will leave you feeling ready to take on life. Not only will you be burning through calories, but you will be having fun with a group of like-minded people. Our group-oriented approach will have you feeling motivated and also keep you inspired throughout our workouts.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Our goal is to provide our students with Awesome Self Defense skills from the ground up. Our students of both young and old, develop confidence, discipline, courage, responsibility and leadership. Although Basic ground defense is taught in our Martial Arts classes , our BJJ program is for those who wish to become more efficient in this specialized form of ground fighting. Although at the Power of One we focus on ideally staying on our feet in a Self Defense situation, It is not uncommon for hand to hand attacks to end up on the ground which is why today’s Martial artist needs to be prepared with a good understanding of the ground game as well.
